In this article you will learn how to link your Adobe account with presono to enjoy even more benefits. 
You can link presono to your existing Adobe account in several ways: on the one hand, you can synchronize your color palettes from Adobe with your color palettes in presono. On the other hand, presono is one of the first platforms to integrate Adobe Express. This allows you to perform various actions to edit your media directly in presono. In this article you will learn exactly how to do it!

 

What is Adobe Colors?

With presono, you have the ability to connect your existing Adobe account and access your Adobe Colors panel directly. Adobe Colors allows you to save colors and color palettes that can be used in all Adobe tools.
 
By connecting your Adobe Colors palette to our presono platform, marketing administrators can keep color definitions up to date as they are automatically synchronized with Adobe. This creates a single source of truth for all color definitions and facilitates compliance with your branding.
 
The defined colors automatically apply through all templates and template sets in presono or can be updated dynamically. This ensures that your presentations and marketing materials are always using the right colors.

 

Connect your account

To connect your account, the feature has to be activated first. You also need the group Permission to manage Configurations & Integrations. Please contact your contact person directly at presono.

 

Then go to the settings and click on "Connections", then on the tile saying "Adobe Creative Cloud". 

 

Then click on "Create connection" in the upper right corner. 

 

A new tab will open where you can log in to your Adobe account. 

 

 

Follow the process and confirm that presono is allowed to access the Adobe Color Palette.

Now reload your page (Ctrl+R) and now you will see your active connections to Adobe. 

 

 

Here you can view all connections and their current status at any time. If you click on a connection, you will also see the associated colors:

 

Of course, you can also delete connections at any time. Click on the connection and then on "delete". 

 

 

 

 

 

Import palette/colors

Once connected, you can either manually create new colors in your configurations as usual, or import one or more colors from Adobe. 

 

 

Then choose:

  1. one of your libraries
  2. a color palette
  3. one or more colors you want to import (you can also rename them by clicking on the title) and then click on "import". 

 

Your colors will now be added to the Template Colors in presono. Since they are synced with your Adobe account, you cannot edit them in presono, only delete them. If you change your colors in Adobe now, they will also be updated in presono, and thus in all Templates and Slides! 

 

 

 

Note: please note that you need to add newly added Template Colors in your sections in the Templates. 

 

 

What happens if the connection is lost? 

In this case, you will receive a message directly in presono that the connection no longer exists.

Go to the Settings and click on the "Connections" tab. There you will be notified that at least one connection has been disconnected.

Click on "Reconnect" for the relevant connection. You will then be redirected to the Adobe login and can re-establish the connection.

The colors that were previously synchronized with this account will also be reconnected.
