In this article we show you a demonstration for a DAM interface!
presono offers the possibility to connect various systems directly to presono via our API. In this video we briefly demonstrate what an interface to a DAM system can look like:
A brief explanation of how it works:
You can see how a new medium is loaded into presono, but instead of uploading it from the computer, one is selected from the DAM system and uploaded into presono.
The medium is then available in presono and can be used as usual. If there are changes to the medium (in the DAM), these are also transferred to presono as long as the connection exists. There are regular synchronizations and comparisons with the third-party system.
The connection to the DAM can, of course, also be interrupted for each medium. The medium is then only available in presono, as if it had been uploaded regularly.
Thanks to our API, an interface like this can also be set up and developed for other systems. However, the effort involved is very individual and depends heavily on the requirements and technical conditions of the third-party tool. Each potential connection must therefore be evaluated separately.
