Interactive presentations via touch, mouse or interactive presenter
In this article, you'll learn about the different ways to navigate through your presentation.
A presentation can be operated using different devices. This can be done either via laptop/PC, a mobile touch device or classically via beamer or screen. The way you can navigate through a presentation in presono differs by the different device types. To start your presentation, open it and click "Start".
There are two ways to navigate:
Linear presentations via keyboard/presenter:
To move to the next slide in the presentation, use the right arrow key or space bar on your keyboard. If you want to go backslide, use the left arrow key. If you are using a touch device, you can switch to the next slide by making a swipe gesture from right to left. To go back, swipe from left to right.
This allows you to present your presentation linearly from the first slide to the last.
presono's tip:
If you press the W key on your keyboard during the presentation, the screen will turn white. If you press B, it turns black. If you press the corresponding key again, you will return to your presentation. This feature can help you if you want to "turn off the screen" so the presentation doesn't distract!
Interactive presentations via touch, mouse or interactive presenter
If you have created an interactive presentation (= with links on the slides), you can also present it with all possible devices. If you are using a touch device, you can tap on the screen to call up the individual links (e.g. to an overlay or a slide). If you use a mouse, you can open the link by clicking on the respective area. You can also use an interactive presenter (it has more functions than just "forwards" and "backwards").
