In presono you can easily add translations for your presentations, so you can present in different languages. First you have to translate the slides in your presentation. You can find out how to do this here: Translating slides
When your slides are translated, the translated versions are stored in the database directly at the slide. This allows you to switch presentations including this slides to other languages. If a slide hast no translation, it will be displayed in the language in which it was created.
For example, if you want to present in english, you should first translate all slides. Then you can open the presentation and click on the flag symbol next to the title. Here you can choose between all available translations. Only those languages that have been created in the system in the settings before are displayed here.
You can find more information here: Settings
The title will also change if you have translated it. To do this, click on the title next to the flag and change it in the respective language.
If a presentation is translated and shared in german and english,
the recipient of the link can also switch between the languages.
If you want to change the language during the presentation, press the enter key and click on the flag(1) and switch between the languages.
If you change the language during the presentation,
the session is saved in the language you changed to last.
If you frequently present in a certain language, you can change your preferred language for content to the respective language in the settings. Then all content, if translated, will be displayed in that language first. You can find out more here: Settings
Language switcher in a slide
If you want, you can also install a language switcher directly in the slide or template. Then you can link a language and if you click on it, the translation will be called automatically.
Select an area (in the template or slide) and click on the link symbol(1). Then select "language(2)" and click on the flag(3) of the language you want to link. After saving the changes, you can change the language during the presentation by clicking on the linked area.
