Share as link
If you want to share your session or presentation as an interactive link, an individual link will be generated for exactly this one session or presentation, which you can simply copy to the clipboard and then share via any channel (mail, chat, etc.).
There are additional settings when sending a link:
- Start automatically: If this option is selected, then the presentation will automatically start in full screen mode as soon as the recipient clicks on the link. The Slide overview is thus skipped.
- Skip email inquery: With this option, the recipient remains anonymous, so to speak. The query for the recipient's email address is skipped and thus does not have to be filled in or clicked away.
- Autoplay: This will automatically start the presentation in full screen mode and after the specified time it will automatically switch to the next Slide.
- Disable download of shared content as PDF: this will not allow the Session or Presentation to be downloaded as a PDF, but only viewed and played in the link.
- Disable download of included PDFs: with this option no PDFs can be downloaded from Slides in this link.
- Slide transition: here you can choose between the usual Slide transitions that have been enabled in the tool.
- Choose language: Also, you can set a language already when sharing. If you don't set one, the user can choose for split presentations and for split sessions the language you used to present will be used.
- Rename the session/presentation
Open Link
If the recipient then clicks on the link, the shared presentation opens in his browser. The best way to do this is to use Google Chrome. If you share your presentation via this link, the recipient does not need to have an account with presono and can still experience the presentation with all links, animations, media and documents!
First a query for the mail address of your receiver appears. The recipient can see again who shared the presentation with him. If he enters his email address, you can track and evaluate what the recipients have viewed. You can find more information here: Manage and analyze shared content. One can skip this input by clicking the button "continue anonymously".
Start and use presentation
To start the presentation, click the Play button in the lower right corner. If you have already clicked "Auto Play" in the settings before sharing, the presentation will already open in full screen.
To navigate back and forth in the presentation, use your arrow keys or the space bar. To exit and return to the overview, use the Esc key.
Operating Instructions
In the upper left corner you will find a question mark that takes you back to the operating instructions. These hints also appear at the bottom right when you open the program for the first time.
Download the presentation as PDF
You can also download the PDF of the presentation by clicking on the download icon.
Download PDFs in shared presentations
If you have inserted PDFs in your slides, this PDF can then be downloaded in the shared link! The recipient of the link can then click on the automatically appearing button on the slide to download the file! You can find more about different content in presentations here: Various contents in slides
Language in shared presentations/sessions
The language of the presentation or session depends on the language of the browser. You can also control the language when sharing and choose a language. If you don't select a language, a button is displayed at the bottom right of shared presentations where you can select the language, and for sessions, the language you used to present is used.
