In this article the enter menu is introduced. You will learn what it has to do with flexible presentation and how to use it!
By using the Enter menu you can add additional slides, presentations or media at any time during your presentation.
Why does the Enter menu exist?
Not uncommonly during a presentation you spontaneously need additional content such as slides, tables, PDFs or other presentations. This can happen, for example, when a question from the audience is asked that cannot be answered with the prepared content. In other systems, you have to leave the presentation at this point and search for the documents.
In presono you can do this very professionally and flexibly via the enter menu without leaving the presentation. Slides, presentations, media or documents can be inserted live into the presentation.

How do I open the Enter menu?
Simply press enter on your keyboard while you are presenting. When using tablets/touchscreens, tap the right or left edge of your screen (depending on what you've set in the settings).
You will then be taken to the content structure, from which various content can be inserted into the presentation (slides/presentations/media etc.). The content structure can be used as usual.
After selecting your content, click on it. The content will be automatically inserted at the point where you pressed the Enter key.
Further options in the enter menu
1. Change the language
In this menu you will find the name of the presentation and a flag next to it. By clicking the flag you can switch between translations of this presentation. You can find more information here: Present in different languages
2. Shortcuts during your presentation
Here you will find a list of all the keyboard shortcuts that you will need during the presentation. You can of course also find these in the prepared presentation in the dropdown next to the "Start" button.
3. Feedback
You can give feedback on the current slide or presentation during the presentation.
Click the feedback icon and type in your message.
4. End presentation
The buttons "slide overview" takes you back to the prepared presentation. Here you can for example change something and then save it again. Clicking "exit presentation" takes you to the session. The presentation will then be canceled at the current slide.
5. Kiosk Mode Options
If you have activated the Kiosk Mode in the Settings, two more buttons will appear in the Enter menu:
Reset presentation
Resets the presentation to the first slide. If you click on the button, you will be asked if you want reset the presentation or if you want to share it beforehand.
If you click on "Share Session" you can share your link - in this case there is even the option to share it as a QR Code for easier sharing during an event!
If you use the presenter mode (second screen mode), the viewers will of course not see this window.
(De)activate Autoplay
If the kiosk mode is activated, there is the possibility to play the presentation automatically. To do this, there is the autoplay option in the enter menu at the top of the screen. Just click the play/pause icon(6).
Using the PIN Code
If, for example, you want to provide an interactive presentation on tablets at a trade fair, you can activate a PIN code for the enter menu in the settings for the kiosk mode. This prevents unauthorized persons from leaving the presentation or accessing the content structure. More information here: What is the kiosk mode?
Branding of the Enter Menu
The enter menu can be customized (color and logo). Therefore you open the settings and click on the tab "Configuration. Select "Company" in the upper right corner. Here you can set the session release duration and configure the interface.
You can set the company name and a main interface color. You can also upload a logo and choose a background color.
These settings will be applied in the enter menu as well as in shared sessions and presentations.
