Create notes in a presentation
Notes in presono serve as support during the presentation. They can be edited and created in the slide as well as in the presentation. During the presentation they can be displayed in presentation mode on the second screen. Notes can be translated, just like presentations. You just need to change the language of the presentation (top left next to the title), and you can create your own notes for the translation.
The notes in presono can be differentiated between personal notes and public notes for all users. The personal notes only appear with you, the public notes are visible for all users of this slide. These users can then add personal notes for themselves.
In addition, notes can apply to the slide in general, i.e. to all presentations where this slide is used. Or the notes on a slide can only be available for one presentation. More about this below.
To create notes, there are two possibilities in presono:
- either you create notes directly on a slide, or
- you create the notes directly in the presentation.
Create notes in a slide
To create notes on a slide, click on a slide directly in the content and open it.
Next click on "Edit".
You will find an icon for the notes in the right bottom corner. Clicking on it opens the notes area.
You have an area for notes (1). There are two tabs at the top, where you can switch between personal notes (2), which are only shown to you in this slide, and public notes (3), which you can share with your colleagues.
Below you will find an area to format the text (4) a bit. You have the following possibilities:
- make the text bold, italic or underlined
- change the color,
- superscript and subscript of the text and
- create an ordered and unordered lists.
At the bottom right you can close (5) the note area again.
Create notes in a presentation
Alternatively, you can create notes directly in the presentation. To do so, go back to the content and open a presentation.
On each slide you will find the icon again in the right bottom corner to open the notes.
In the notes area there are two tabs at the top where you can switch between personal notes (1), which are only shown to you when you use this slide, and public notes (2), which you can share with your colleagues.
In the presentation, you can also distinguish between notes that should be stored with this slide in every presentation (3) where it is used or only in this presentation (4). This option is available for both public and personal notes (see 1 and 2).
Below you will find an area to format the text (5). You have the following possibilities:
- make the text bold, italic or underlined
- change the color,
- superscript and subscript of the text and
- create an ordered and unordered lists.
At the bottom right you can close the note area again (6).
